The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an
English language curriculum offered to students to prepare them for
International Baccalaureate, A Level and BTEC Level 3 (which is recommended for higher-tier students). It is based on the GCE O-Level and is recognised as being equivalent to the GCSE. The IGCSE was developed by University of Cambridge International Examinations. Most Students begin learning the syllabus at the beginning of year 10(Grade 9) and take the test at the end of year 11(Grade 10).
The IGCSE is an international alternative to many national curricula, IGCSE
qualifications are based on individual subjects of study, which means that one
receives an “IGCSE” qualification for each subject one takes. For this reason,
schools worldwide have different expectations about how many IGCSEs students should take. Typical “core” curricula for IGCSE candidates include a First Language, Second Language, Mathematics and one or more subjects in the Sciences.
Each class accommodates a maximum of 30 students. This is to ensure that every student gets equal attention and assistance from the educator. This number is also just nice for study groups and team assignments.
SRIIPUJ applies a unique learning system which stems from the belief that every child has the ability and talent to learn both on their own and with others, with guidance from their educators. The collaborative teaching method is being implemented in 2018 to ensure the PdPc process in the class is effective.
The students can become well-prepared person with leadership traits, diversifying their experiences, and getting more of their education. They will love learning, and proficient in their chosen field of study. Moreover, they will be ready to be exposed to any kind of situation as they are developing the confidence to be ahead at their future education.
Finally, successful students at SRIIPUJ will be accomplished learners who embody excellence in character and devotion to Islam and Insyaallah will be excellent reciters of Al Quran.
